Years ago, Amazon launched their AutoRip program which gives customers free digital versions of CDs they had already bought. Now Amazon has extended this idea to book through its new Kindle Matchbook program (launching October).

If you have bought an eligible book, you will be able to download a digital Kindle version for $2.99 or less.
